Daniela Klee
Music Composer

“When the world becomes a massive mess with nobody at the helm, it’s time for artists to make their mark” - Joni Mitchell
In a world in which war and peace often collide, music has been a binding force, bringing people of different cultures and beliefs together.
Having had her own passion for music spark at a young age, Daniela’s interest and curiosity for music has developed into a deep love and admiration for the work of past and present composers. Her fascination for film scores has been a huge contribution toward this development. Having been inspired by composers such as Thomas Newman, Christopher Tin, and Eric Whitacre, she hopes to continue to create music which will inspire those around her.
Having had the privilege of being a member in the award winning ‘Kwa-zulu Natal Midlands Youth Choir’ and having learnt many instruments over the years, in her final year of studying her undergraduate degree for music composition, her goal is to learn as much as possible, by attending online international summer school workshops as well as interning with companies. She hopes to continue learning over the years in order to step into the industry with a solid base of knowledge and skills.

As a kid he always had a fascination with how? And Why? We humans behave the way we do. In Umtata High School he conducted research with his friends for science week in Grade 11 2014 that focused on the physiological effects of music on humans. From those findings his interest in multimedia (the leading cause of subconscious programming) was birthed starting with the skill of storytelling through Music to sound Design then in the process of learning stills photography was captivated by Motion Picture and now is currently in final year pursuing a degree in BA motion picture medium (Cinematography) at AFDA. In the process he has directed and edited 2 virtual choirs of more than 180 individuals from more than 10 countries. “You plant a thought, you reap an action, you plant an action, you reap a habit. You plant a habit, you reap a character. You plant a character, you reap your destiny”. To move through life one needs to “Begin with an end in mind” and it is because of that understanding he wants to use his accumulated knowledge to influence the thought process through film so your one's destiny is a desirable outcome.
